About Totoro

This tumblr is dedicated to Totoro, a lovable little thing from the Studio Ghibli film My Neighbour Totoro, directed and written by Hayao Miyazaki. Since its debut over twenty years ago, Totoro is by far, one of the most recognisable characters of the Ghibli universe. What is Totoro, exactly? Some kind of giant cat, maybe, but I can’t say for sure - all I know is that it looks cuddly and is particularly handy with an umbrella. 

Feel free to submit your pictures, links, stories - anything related to Totoro! Make sure that if you submit photos or art, that they are properly attributed and all that jazz, otherwise I might not post it. If they’re your own stuff, then leave a link to your page or an email so I can let the world know how awesome you are! I try to be as careful as I can when it comes to giving credit where it’s due, and you’ll know when it’s my stuff (for example, the picture above is mine!). If I’ve got something here that’s yours and you don’t like that or I haven’t correctly credited, please let me know via the “ask” link over there.
